Terms

Terms of use

Plain English. Not legal advice. We’ll replace this with proper counsel-reviewed terms before payment processing turns on.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. You promise the profile information you provide is accurate enough to identify you to other users, even if you’re presenting in-character (e.g. roleplay or declared alien modes are fine; impersonating a real person who isn’t you is not).

What you can’t do

  • Harass, threaten, or dox another user.
  • Post sexual content involving minors. Reported instantly.
  • Spam, scam, or run financial schemes.
  • Impersonate a real person (celebrity, official, etc.).
  • Use the disclosure archive’s rehosted PDFs commercially without preserving the original source attribution.
  • Evade a ban with a second account.

Your content

You own what you post. You grant alien.net a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and modify your content as needed to operate the service (e.g. generating thumbnails, indexing for search, sending it to a match). You can delete your content; deletion is permanent after a 30-day soft-delete window.

Disclosure content

The /disclosure section indexes public, official government material. We do not claim ownership of those documents and we do not interpret them as more conclusive than the source releases themselves. Cite the original government URL alongside ours.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from /profile/me.

No warranties

alien.net is provided as-is. We don’t guarantee that anyone you meet is who they say they are — verify before you meet, follow /safety, trust your instincts.
